Virgen De La Cruz
On the outskirts of Málaga city (Málaga) lies Benalmádena where during the height of the summer season this charming pueblo commemorates the Virgen de la Cruz.
Highlights of this fiesta include special events, both cultural and festive, often with visiting celebrity performers. Not to be confused with Benalmádena-Costa, the pueblo itself is small but quaint and picturesque, still very typical of Spanish villages - but with a contemporary rhythm.
