Fiesta De San Agustín
Linares (Jaén) yearly celebrates one of Andalucia's most important fiestas during these dates. By virtue of the high quality of its theatrical productions, spectacles, concerts, musical presentations by national and international performers and its bulls fair, this festival is famous worldwide.
A particular highlight is the Concurso de Tarantas, a singing competition with a profound tradition, that embraces cantaores of all levels. The people of Linares exhibit their warm hospitality amid a sea of color, light, sound and joy.
Hinojosa del Duque (Córdoba) celebrates its summer fiestas with concerts, open-air activities. The fair begins at 1 pm and there are equestrian exhibitions and presentations.
The festivities continue well into the evening by way of the "mini discos" located in discocasetas, the municipal orchestra performances, game and booths with traditional local dishes to savor.
